University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners are ahead of the crowd when it comes to meeting mobile-first student needs. With over 60,000 mobile devices on campus, UTSA became an early adopter of a mobile strategy. When they first rolled out a mobile app, adoption was good, but students didn’t use it. When they started the process again, they took a step back and asked, “Where are we really trying to go with this?”
By focusing on what their students needed, UTSA chose to develop an app that unified services from the student portal as well as course information from their learning management system. Their mobile-first students now have one app they can rely on anywhere at anytime.
